Covalent Models
Covalent Models allows you to undertake a self-assessment against a defined performance management 'model' or framework, by scoring performance on a series of pre-defined questions.
Covalent Models is pre-loaded with a host of public sector-specific and popular Performance Management frameworks. Each template contains the model structure, Key Lines Of Enquiry (KLOEs), key questions with all the supporting statutory guidance and background information. It also includes the scoring mechanism used for the model, which is built into Covalent using the 'rules' feature.
Furthermore, Models is fully customisable so you can create your own Performance Management framework.
To conduct a self-assessment, you score current performance for each question, resulting in a traffic-lighted status based on the pre-defined rules. That in turn leads to an aggregated score and colour status at all points in the tree above the question. By way of supporting evidence, you can add Notes or attach Documents to back up the judgement on the score chosen. You can also add your own custom fields to provide further supporting evidence and provide one place where all inspection related materials can be consolidated in.
Ensures everyone across the organisation uses a consistent approach to undertaking self-assessment, in line with the published guidance
Consolidate all your supporting evidence for an inspection for each self-assessed score, such as appropriate documents, comments & notes, or performance on particular PIs, Actions and Risks
Questions are presented in an easy-to-access, structured format, allowing capture of comments and a simple means of scoring the organisation's performance against that question
View the current position on a scorecard at any time and undertake multiple assessments over time to track how improvements are coming through
A series of pre-defined reports will automate the production of standard report formats and statutory returns
