Risk notebook
The Risk 'notebook' holds all key information on the risk. This is where you see each of the risk dimensions - likelihood and impact, with fully configurable matrices.

Risk Profile
The Risk notebook also holds supporting information such as the potential effect and vost of the risk occurring, measures of impact, risk factors and internal control in place.

Risk Trigger
'Triggers' can be set up to send email alerts when a risk is due for reassessment or to alert of a change in its status.

Risk Assessment
Score a risk either by clicking on a segment of the 'RAG' matrix, or by using dropdown boxes to assess its impact and likelihood of occurrence.

Risk Assessment History
Calling up the assessment history shows details of the last assessment, together with a full log of all previous assessments of the risk including risk matrices and any notes and updates recorded at the time.

Risks
Risks can be organised in a 'parent/child' structure: the 'child' risk holds the score for an individual risk and its 'parent' holds a 'heat map' showing the total number of risks beneath the parent with the relevant 'RAG' status of each.

Risk Mitigation
Mitigating plans, linked to risks, can be set up and fully progress tracked in Covalent so you are fully aware of what is being done about them.

Risks Scorecard
Covalent allows you to view risks in the context of your organisational strategy/business plan, highlighting the link between them and how risks can impact on their successful execution.

Compliance Assessments
Users self-assess the score on each compliance standard/provision resulting in a traffic-lighted status based on the pre-defined rules. That in turn leads to an aggregated score and colour status at all points in the compliance framework.

Audit Management
Covalent consolidates all the areas/entities to be audited in the Audit Universe, typically organised either into business unit or department or business processes (e.g. procurement to payment, fraud detection, project management, payroll).

Audit Dashboards
Covalent Dashboards provide summary statistics on performance measures of relevance to the Audit function with drill-down to increasing levels of detail.
