Two new USA customers for Covalent

Covalent is pleased to announce that is has secured two new customers "across the pond" in the form of Local Government organisation City of Winter Garden and Social Housing provider, The Providence Housing Authority.
Located in central Florida, the City of Winter Garden was incorporated in 1903 and currently serves a population of 31,000 citizens. The city has both long-term and short-term goals. Its short-term goal is to become the best little city in Florida, and the long-term goal is to become the best little city in the United States.
To help deliver on these goals, the City is implementing Covalent enterprise-wide. The objective is to capture and manage performance data across all departments and develop executive performance tracking and reporting with respect to the City’s strategic plan goals and desired outcomes, business plan objectives, and supporting periodic performance measures.
Winter Garden selected Covalent because of its software layout, reporting capabilities, ease of use, and excellent customer service.
Winter Garden joins City of Orlando and City of Clearwater as Covalent US Local Government customers. Covalent also provides a performance benchmarking tool to the Florida Benchmarking Consortium.

Located in Providence, Rhode Island, it was created in 1939 and operates a total of 13 public housing sites, including 6 family developments and 7 elderly/disabled high-rises. In addition, the PHA manages 245 scattered site homes, and administers a Section 8 Program to more than 2,500 households. Its mission statement extends beyond the brick and mortar of the original goal to provide decent and affordable housing. The PHA offers a wide range of services designed to support the social needs of residents. The Providence Housing Authority is consistently recognised as national leader in public housing. In the past ten years, the PHA has received many NAHRO Awards of Excellence, as well as several awards from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and other federal, state, and local organisations.
The Providence Housing Authority engages in performance management via a comprehensive 5-year goals management plan, which is updated quarterly to reflect status on goals, objectives and tasks. Monthly management reports communicate operational performance on over 3,500 indicators. Providence will be using Covalent to centralise its performance management information to introduce reporting efficiencies, quickly identify and mitigate operational performance issues and continue being a best in class housing authority through the utilisation of performance management software for strategy execution.
