Two more Social Housing customers for Covalent

Covalent is pleased to announce two new RSL customers, maintaining its strong momentum in the Social Housing sector.
City West Housing Trust and Sedgefield Borough Homes are the latest providers to join the rapidly growing Covalent community.
In October 2008 City West Housing Trust took over the ownership and management of around 14,600 homes in West Salford from Salford City Council. City West is an independent organisation from the Council and is is a not-for-profit registered charity which means that all of its income and any surpluses are spent on improving homes and services and developing neighbourhoods. City West has a funding agreement in place that will deliver over £235 million in the next five years and over £900 million over the next 30 years.
City West has opted for the majority of the Covalent corporate performance management suite. It will use Covalent to track its performance indicators and action/improvement plans and to manage its corporate risks, as well as to perform self assessments and prepare for inspections. It will utilise the Geographic Performance Mapping module and will also implement the Tenant Feedback and Consultations modules.
Sedgefield Borough Homes is a new RSL, having only been set up in March 2009 after council tenants voted in favour of transferring the ownership and management of their homes to SBH. It is based in Spennymoor in County Durham.
Sedgefield Borough Homes will use Covalent for PI monitoring, action and improvement planning, corporate risk management and for self assessment and inspections management.
