As part of Covalent's security testing, independent penetration testing is carried our on our system both annually and monthly.
A penetration test is a software attack on our system that looks for security weaknesses, potentially gaining access to the computers features and data.
The process typically identifies the target systems and a particular goal - and then reviews information and undertakes various means to attain the goal. The result of a penetration test can help determine whether a system us vulnerable to attack, if the defences in place were sufficient, or which defences if any, the test defeated.
The main goal for carrying out these penetration tests monthly is to find possible vulnerabilities and fix them as quickly as possible to provide you the most secure system we possibly can.
As part of this penetration testing, Covalent also reports our results via a portal for all our customers to view. At Covalent we care about real world risk, and strive to keep our customer data as secure as possible, and with our monthly penetration testing and results you can see all the work we do in keeping your information secure.
