Company news - and Alnwick makes 60 - July 21st, 2006

Covalent has now signed its 60th public sector customer with the recent contract at Alnwick DC.

TAUNTON, 21st July 2006 - Covalent Software today announced that Alnwick District Council has purchased its innovative, web-hosted Performance Management system. In addition to this, Covalent were pleased to welcome aboard their seventh Scottish Council customer earlier this month, bringing the total of local government customers to 60 organisations across the UK and Ireland. Company news - Covalent wins in national awards - July 20th, 2006

Covalent Software wins ‘entrepreneur of the year’ in national business awards. Covalent was finalist in two other awards and is the only company in Devon, Cornwall or Somerset to win an award in the West Country and Wales region.

TAUNTON, 20th July 2006 - Peter McHugh, founder and CEO of Covalent Software, won the Entrepreneur of the Year award for the West Country and Wales region of the National Business Awards. The award was presented at the National Business Awards showcase reception in London on 13th July. Mr McHugh is now short listed for the overall National award, with the winner to be announced in November. The National Business Awards are acknowledged by The Chancellor of the Exchequer as the UK’s Business Oscars. (more…)
