Covalent Performance Management Software - Straight Forward Deployment

Straight-forward Deployment

Getting Covalent up and running is straightforward, so straight-forward that we offer our implementation package for a fixed fee. The implementation process is simple for three reasons:

  • The software was specifically designed in the first place to make it easy to configure and customise to specific preferences and settings
  • The data importing routines we have built streamline the whole process and simplify the process of getting data from spreadsheets onto the system
  • Our collective experience of implementing Covalent in a vast number of organisations means that we have developed a proven process, that we know works and that is as streamlined and efficient as possible

All this means that implementing Covalent is not complex, is not expensive and we do not need many staff on the project. It requires very little resource input from your side and it doesn't take long to get up and running effectively with the software. Talk to any of our customers for reassurance on this point. Broadly a Covalent implementation involves three major elements:

  1. Project management and Consultancy: When we talk about "consultancy" in this context we are talking about advice/guidance on configuring Covalent, not general management consultancy on performance management, culture change etc. Those are services which we can provide but which are not part of our standard implementation approach
  2. Data loading the information you want on Covalent. We do all the work involved in this, and this element accounts for the bulk of work completed on every implementation, so we have provided further details below
  3. Site configuration and preferences setting
A Covalent project will pass through 4 major milestones on the way to completion:
Project Kick-Off To finalise project scope and detail of information to be loaded. Week 1
Familiarisation Customer uses the initial training guide and workbook to familiarise with Covalent in advance of the initial scheduled on-site training. Weeks 2-4
Site Live The initial systems administrator (SysAdmin) training is completed and the dedicated Covalent site is accessible by the customer with preference settings configured. Week 4
Project Live Final SysAdmin training is delivered and remaining data loading completed. Project Completion Document is sent to customer, which outlines the work that has been completed and the data that resides on the customer site. Week 8-10
